"Beetle fly"

One of Julia's favorite bed time songs is "beetles fly," more commonly known as (edelweiss) from the sound of music.

"Sometimes" I think that they could be best friends. They love to copy each other, it suprises me that they are not both in their pjs.

Jessie is going to be my soccer player. She has taken a long time to become mobile. . . now that she has decided to explore I think I am in for it with this girl! (She is into everything.)

She can also give the greatest hugs that I hope never end! That must be why she can wrestle rather well with her sister.

Hawaii

Getting ready for our trip to Kauai.

Aloha!

Twin Falls

Day of the Birds!
Pat tossed a fishy cracker. . . and we gathered such an amazing crowd, we wasted a few just for the entertainment!
We stayed at Lawai Beach resort near Poipu beach.
During nap time I walked accross the street and went snorkeling! It was great. . . I saw such a variety of fish, it was a little frightening getting out and in so near the rocks. I was warned by some locals prior that if I touched one of the black pocky things that I may as well go home, and they were all over the rocks ahh but I was fine!

Pat purchased some "green" Bannanas so they would last for the week. . . and they did!
In fact Julia called the front desk on several occations requesting some bannanas, (our green ones were not edible.) We would keep the phone unplugged because the girls loved to call everyone, (especially cousins) and the front desk. We found out latter that she actually did talk to someone at the front desk many times!

Julia found a swing right beneath the bannana trees.

This was one of our favorite beaches! (Lydgate park)

Jessie and her Butterfly glasses, and we get this cheesy grin everytime we put them on.

We had some nice wind going on. . . great for staying out of the water from what I understand and witnessed. (for a good 3-4 days)

One of those morning walks you wish would never end!

Picnic party

It was not easy saying good by to the Sharps!

Julia always wants to know where her cousins addy and ella are? (Because airplanes only go to the vacation house. . . Hawaii) It sounds like they are enjoying the beach anyway!

One of my favorite sayings right now is, "I can do it."

J likes to watch a show about the alphabet and the other day she pulled out a Popsicle box from the recycling and said, "I want a letter L." Meaning a lollipop/ Popsicle.

My babies!

J and Auntie, J getting her first professional hair cut!

Little J giving Auntie hugs.

Thank you for spending the morning with us Carolee! We had a great time!

These pictures reminded me of Little house on the prairie, maybe it was the long grass. . . I can hear the music in my head when I see them. The girls were having a great time together, Julia loves her cousins!!! She is always talking about and praying for them. How great it is to have so many cousins. She is going to miss them.

Enerrrgggy

I was peeking in on Julia the other day because she was having an interesting conversation, by her self. It went something like this:

Enerrrgggy, I need my eeeenergy. where is my energy, I need my energy. . . It went on for a while. I was thinking about that this morning as I was getting ready, that is the way I felt and wondered if I say that out loud?

Monday we were out working, playing in the garden and Julia likes the watering part. Her sandles were wet and so she wanted to go get some new shoes on. . . (Michele you can appreciate this, moms who know.) She came back out with her "pritties" dress up hills with feathers on and continued to water and clean out some buckets I gave her.

She pointed out to me this morning that her toe polish is almost gone and we need to fix them, this is our fun time together we soak our feet and polish our toes. . . she gets the pampering . . . one day she will be old enough to return the favor. I think she would always be at Aunt Carolee's if we were still in Arizona.
